The Person I Looked Up to Most in My Life

I asked myself where i should begin. I could write on many topics and will as time goes by but today i am writing about the one person I looked up to and admired more than anyone in my life. My grandma-she was one of the greatest people I knew, she was crippled and had polio, but she never let that keep her down. I can remember many nights sitting up with her all night drinking coffee and talking. She was the one person i could tell anything she not only listened to what i had to say but she helped me through any problem I had. I moved in and took care of her and she took care of me, She passed away seventeen years ago November 22, my birthday-not a day goes by where i don't miss her and think about her, she was so wise and knew so much about life. One thing she used to say to me is "when children are younger they step on your toes, when they grow up they walk on your heart. I have found that to be very true. In raising two teenagers and a toddler but all a person can do is hope they come around when they are older and realize that mom wasn't always wrong. teenagers have a way of feeling that way!
