Nintendo DS Games to Look Forward to This Spring

The Top Five Most Anticipated Games

There are two seasons in the year in which great video games are regularly released. The more obvious season is the end of year Holidays. Besides that, great video games always come out during the spring, especially in March.
The following is a list of five anticipated games coming out in the next few months for the Nintendo DS portable gaming system.

Lost in Blue 2 - March 1, 2007
The first Lost in Blue game came out shortly after the release of the Nintendo DS. It had unique game play in which you were stranded on a deserted island with another female character. Your job was to work hard to stay alive on the island, finding wood for a fire and gathering food supplies for example. The sequel has no doubt addressed some of the issues that plagued the first game, such as the odd passage of time and sometimes tedious work. If you enjoyed the first game or you like how this sounds, you can pick it up in the beginning of March.

Wario: Master of Disguise - March 3, 2007
The past few Wario games were all about the microgames party experience. Not this time! Wario goes back to his roots as a platform-jumping anti-Mario. This will take you back to the days of Wario's Woods and other 2-dimensional side-scrollers. Finally we get to play a classic Wario game as opposed to the WarioWare games of late. Pick this up with me at the beginning of March.

Pogo Island - March 26, 2007
Many people have played the vast array of online games offered on EA's Pogo.com. Now you can take some of those games with you when using your Nintendo DS. The game sports five of the most popular Pogo.com games put together in a tropical setting. The graphics have been cleaned up and updated, although they're still 2-dimensional. I have to admit that I got pretty excited when I heard about this release. I love Pogo games, especially Word Whomp which is included in the DS game. Join me in buying it at the end of March.

The new Pokemon duoble whammy sounds like a winner. I purchased the Emeral version on the GBA almost year ago from Nintendo.com, and I still haven't opened it up yet. Heck...I'm JUST getting back into Final Fantasy VII...and I'm still disc 1!
