New and Full Moons for 2007

Following the cycles of the moon is a great way to get into touch with the natural rhythms of the world. The energy changes between the Full and New moons. When you want to increase something, get more of something, get something new...you would do that work or wishing or ceremony in the time between the New and Full moons (because the moon is getting bigger, thus its energy is increasing.) The peak energy is the Full Moon itself (and about a day or so on either side). The lowest ebb of energy is the New Moon (when the moon is dark). If you are looking to decrease something, get rid of something, or end something, the time from the Full Moon to the New Moon is best.

A "Blue Moon" is when there are two full moons in a calendar month. Depending on your time zone, there is one in either May or June of 2007(the full moon of May 31 is around 8 p.m. Eastern time).

Knowing what astrological sign the moon is in can also be helpful in helping you narrow your focus each month. I've placed just a few keywords to get you started. Of course, you can always do rituals, wishes or prayers for whatever you need that month...these are just the strongest times for each.
