Boston Celtics' Rajon Rondo is the Most Improved Player so Far

The NBA has many spectacular basketball players that play in the league. Players from all over the world come to play for the NBA and because of it, the NBA is the most competitive basketball league in the
world. With that said, it is hard to determine what a player has accomplished if that player is not among the league's elite players, i.e. Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Duane Wade, etc. Since the 2008-2009 season began, there is one player who is not considered among the league's elite, who has improved his game in a major way. That player is Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics.

The Boston Celtics are obviously the reigning NBA champions, and usually we wouldn't so much look at a championship team for the most improved player in the league. Some may even argue that the Celtics were doing an awesome job with the way that Rondo was playing before, but with the way that Rondo is playing now, makes the NBA champion Boston Celtics even better.

Even though the Boston Celtics were the best team last season, this year they have gotten off to the best start in franchise history, and the difference is basically Rondo. Rondo has definitely been playing more like a leader which is how the starting point guard is supposed to play. The NBA playoffs are played on a different platform than the regular season, and we all know that Rondo played some shaky basketball during the playoffs last season. It clearly showed with how many games they had to play before winning the championship. As the midway point of the 2008-2009 NBA regular season approaches, Rondo has really been showing much improvement statistically speaking.
