BMW Hybrid Car Preview: A Combination of Style and Performance

As is increasingly the case with today's car manufacturers, BMW is joining the ranks of those marketing hybrid vehicles. In order to conform to the concerns for environmentally friendly vehicles, the German manufacturer has announced its intention to produce their answer to the demand for
 a unique hybrid car.

With the contributions of first-class modernization that BMW has provided in the past, a hybrid created under this manufacturer is sure to raise the bar for quality hybrid vehicles.

It has been announced by BMW that the 7 series BMW will be the first to be infused with the power of hydrogen and petroleum. Tests are currently being done in several countries, while engineers and research teams are collecting data in order to bring the car to perfection before releasing it. BMW is not just interested in the look of their hybrid car, but they are also focusing on performance and environmentally friendly.

The delay in release of a hybrid by BMW is not due to them being behind in such technology, but rather that they are taking the hybrid in a different direction than other manufacturers. In taking such a direction, further research needs to be done in order to eliminate the possibility of problems in their combination hydrogen fueled internal combustion engine. The proposed hydrogen has to take into consideration if temperatures get too hot it will cause evaporation of the hydrogen and require more frequent fill stops, thus defeating the economic purpose of hybrid technology. Evaporation can also be an issue for the flow of the hydrogen to the engine, but this problem has reportedly been solved by BMW.

Hydrogen is BMW's solution to the environmental issues posed by conventional vehicles, and they see hydrogen as being the solution for cleanly and efficiently running cars in the future.

BMW has already claimed that they have spent the last thirty-years developing and expanding upon hydrogen vehicle technology. They even boast of a water-powered car from which water vapors are emitted.
