Why Eat Taco Bell?

No Problemo is a Mexican restaurant located on the corner of Purchase Street and William Street downtown New Bedford, Massachusetts. There aren't many Mexican restaurants around New Bedford, so the choices are incredibly limited. There's the fast food Taco Bell, one in Fairhaven and one in Dartmouth, and the Ixtapa Cantina, which is also in Dartmouth. Ixtapa Cantina is actually a recent development, and before that there was no choice except fast food or No Problemo. Still, however, No Problemo outshines them all with great service and fantastic food.

Now, No Problemo not really Mexican themed like Ixtapa Cantina. In fact, the restaurant is small and plainly designed. However, that's not the point. For a "Tex Mex experience," you should try Ixtapa Cantina, for the best Mexican food in New Bedford, you have to go to No Problemo.

They have great burritos with tons of selections like different types of rice, beans, and cheeses. The burritos are huge for their price (as is all their selections, like the quesadilla or their tacos), and the nachos compliment them well. It's hardly ever busy, and the cook time is usually less than ten minutes. Also, the staff is very friendly.

I also love the drink selection. They have the basic sodas and water (all bottled), but they also have a local soda manufacturer that has a delicious dry root beer and cream soda. That would be what I usually get, a burrito with black beans and rice, no cheese, a side of nachos with sour cream (or yogurt), and a nice dry root beer. If you live in the New Bedford area, you should definitely try it. You are in for a treat.
