Why Paris Hilton is the Most Overrated Person in the World

While some celebrities manage to maintain their dignity and go about their business in a mature way, Paris Hilton manages to look ridiculous and make Americans look bad. Recently, I heard a news story stating that many Muslims think that all Americans are molded after stars like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. I would like to take this opportunity to say that this is in no way true. That is like saying that everyone in the Muslim world is a terrorist. It is just not true!

It is an insult to most in America to be compared to Paris Hilton. This diva unfortunately graces our televisions with her tacky antics and sex scandals and is pictured in tabloids all over the country. Her hair extensions likely cost more than what most people spend on food for six months. Whether she is staggering around drunk in her mini as a continuous party girl or posing in her typical skinny pose with that lame grin on her face and her eyes forever three quarters of the way closed (how DOES she see anything!), I know I am not alone when I say I divert my attention elsewhere instead of give this celebrity a moment of my time. I was very disturbed to hear that others in other countries would compare me to this shallow individual. I took some time to gather some information on this so-called "celebrity".

Born in 1981, she is an heiress to a share of the Hilton Hotel fortune. Getting everything handed to you on a silver platter is not typical for the majority of Americans. When she made a pathetic attempt at understanding the "common folk" and starred in The Simple Life, I don't think she intended to relate to the "common" as much as she preferred to poke fun of them.
