Duh, It's a Car Stereo!

You would say the whole thing is pretty self-explanatory. A stereo system in a car... what's so new about this? You can find so many people putting their home stereo in their car and even their vans, but somehow, something is missing and the whole thing does not seem right. Previously it
would have been just fine when all that was needed is a car radio and a cassette player. You would jut add up the speakers to you back seat and blare as you move down the highway. However, today things are pretty different with CD players, MP3 players, Popup LVD Panels and the like. With so many high-tech phenomenon around, you might as ell think that manufacturer's today might just bring out a home theatre to be put in the console of your can. In case you are a total newbie at all of this, here are a couple of useful tips on what you look out for when looking for a car stereo.

Initially what was seen with car stereo installations was that home audio systems were simply placed in vehicles. Unfortunately these systems were affected by problems such as extremes of temperature and vibration. As a result, car enthusiasts really did not like the output from these typical car sound systems. With the coming in of CD players, the existing car systems were tweaked for better effects and this resulted in the modern car stereo.

In case your car is a new one that you bought first hand, then most often you would probably have a "factory" car stereo already installed in your car. Unless your car model specifically states that here should be no car stereo system along with it, you will have one installed. Certain car manufactures build their own car stereo sysem say for example BMW. BMW's car stereo is pretty good with its own head unit and speakers. This is something that is included in all their cars, which really isn't something to be astonished about given the fact that they come in the list of luxury car manufacturers. On the other hand, if you look into car makers such as Mercedes Benz or Volkswagen, they don't make their own system but use the ones provided by the German audio manufacturer called Blaupunkt.
