Macworld 2009 to Herald in 32 Gb iPhone?

Rumors Continue to Swirl Around Macworld 2009

Rumors continue to circulate concerning Macworld 2009, a yearly conference and expo where Macintosh celebrates, shares, and teaches about all things Mac. This is also the forum that Mac frequently uses to unveil new changes to existing product lines and new products that they expect to
Macworld 2009 to Herald in 32 Gb iPhone?
revolutionize technology in the coming year. With Macworld 2009 underway and Macworld rumors continuing to flood the internet, people want to know what Macintosh has up its sleeve.

One rumor gaining momentum during the build up to Macworld 2009 has been the question of a 32 gb iPhone. Jesus Diaz of Gizmodo's Gadget blog has commented on the potential for an iPhone update or iPhone changes that might be in store at Macworld, stating that a bigger capacity or new colors seem to dominate the iPhone rumor mill. Is a 32 gb iPhone what Mac has up their sleeves? If so, what's the big deal for Mac users, iPhone users, and the tech world in general?

Without a doubt, a 32 gb iPhone would create a bit of a stir. A larger capacity for the iPhone means a faster phone and service, expanded capability for iPhone applications, and an enhanced ability to watch movies and store music on your iPhone. For iPhone users or potential users, a 32 gb iPhone means faster and better.

An announcement at Macworld 2009 of a larger capacity for the iPhone would also have an impact outside of the Mac community. A 32 gb iPhone could pull away Blackberry users, or entice other companies to increase their own capacity in order to compete with the iPhone.

Whatever Macworld 2009 has in store during its keynote address on Tuesday, expect iPhone advancements and enhancements in the not so distant future. A 32 gb iPhone doesn't seem like it has the potential to warrant a major, show-stopping announcement at Macworld, but that doesn't mean it isn't on the way.
