For reasons that I cannot fathom, the films of one of the most singularly talented directors in Hollywood history seem to have disappeared off the map. I am speaking about the iconoclastic dancer-turned-choreographer-turned director Bob Fosse. Fortunately, all of Bob Fosse's films are available on Netflix so you can see for yourself the dazzling talents of this unique filmmaker. He wasn't prolific and he only had one bona fide blockbuster in Cabaret, but taken as a whole his canon is an impressive and versatile as any other American director in history.

Oh WoW, I feel the same way about All That Jazz. I love that movie. I just saw it on FX movie channel for the fortieth time. Hehe. And it is blasphmy to say Godfather is a Disney look at Gangsters. It is a Classic. Lastly, that seen in Carabet "Tommorow belongs to me" is soo frightning. especially when it ends with the MC of the Cababet devilishly smiling at you. Gives me goosebumps. Oh, and Star 80. I love that film. The boyfriends great ambition to be famous was probably foreshadowing of today trying to be famous with Utube. Great article. Bye
