Religion may have many different meanings but it centers on one aspect, believing and practicing a moral conduct focused on the cause, nature, and reason of the universe. The stories within the Bible may seem like fairy tales to some, but these stories are not based upon elves, fairies, dragons, etc. The stories within the Bible are Scripture. Scripture is ANY writings or books based on religion. We can then justly call the Books in the Bible Scripture and not fairy tales. As a Christian myself, I may not agree with the many different religions we have in this world but I would never disrespect the people or their beliefs by calling their religious books and writings tall tales.I do believe my actions in life are what will determine my "fate" after death. I try to lead a Christian lifestyle, which means following the Ten Commandments and the Scripture in the Bible. I do say, "try" because no one is perfect. I make mistakes just like anyone else regardless of religious background. However, there are different types of religions with congregations of people that do twist the Word of God to fit their idea of what is right and wrong. These people rate up there with some Atheists that don't want to think there is a higher being that is watching over them. They choose to live by their own code of ethics in which they can do whatever they want as long as they can rationalize it to settle their own conscience.
