Spring Fashions are just rolling out and several looks include touches of flamenco style. The years newest fashion trends include looks for everyone but one trend that showed up more often than any other was the dress. Long, short, mini, plain, simple and babydoll, they were all there. Why? Well, dresses work for many body types and can take you from one situation to the next with little effort. More importantly though dresses like flamenco are supremely feminine.

If you have ever watched a flamenco dancer you will be overwhelmed by the emotion, passion and distinctive feminine qualities you witness. The clothing the dancer is wearing is just as important as her dance and the regional style of flamenco dresses has found its way into many of the latest and past styles that we love today. Think bold colors, tight waists, wide sleeves, polka dots, and ruffles and you have just described a flamenco dress with flair. It is so easy to add a few elements of flamenco style to the latest fashion trends every year.

Here are some ideas for adding flair to your wardrobe with flamenco styles.

Polka Dots: This year's dresses came in every style and pattern imaginable but one pattern that was on the runway repeatedly was the polka dot or a pattern similar. The most recognizable feature of the flamenco dress is the polka dots but sometimes they do not work for everyone. If you do not see yourself strolling in polka dots look for patterns that were popular in Oscar de la Renta's spring line, in place of polka dots flowers were used. Either way the repeating pattern will stand out because of the bright and bold colors and design.

I tried to click you back up but it didn't move at all. Flamenco dancers do have great attitude and sexuality. What's NOT to like?

Ouch, someone wanted me off the front page, toppled from a 4.7 to a 1.9 in the time it took to click.

Very true Ms. D. Though not everyone has been blessed with a gorgeous mane of jet black hair.

Another key aspect to flamenco style is attitude! If you have confidence in yourself and keep that great posture that flamenco dancers have, you add a lot to the statement you make to others! Also, the sleek, shiny pulled-back hair adds a lot of drama to a look!

Might be an improvement over my usual blue jeans.
