Principles: Once You Lose Them, You Never Get 'em Back
These same people would have preferred President Truman to not drop the bombs, but instead, have most of those horrible military men die from being used as targets by the loving Japanese people. They, now, are even making movies about these wonderful people. I had a friend, now dead, that was a prisoner of Japan during the Bataan Death March. His natural hatred became my hatred. I would like someone to tell me if the Japanese ever paid reparations to the Korean, Chinese, Filipino, and Burmese women used by the Japanese army as sex slaves for their military jackals. From what I understand, most were killed as the Japs retreated. I don't believe they ever paid reparations for using U.S. prisoners as slaves in their war effort. Also, I don't believe they ever paid reparations to any country that they raped, ravaged, and destroyed. I don't doubt that they are as good an ally today as are those countries we helped to liberate - our good friends the French, English, Dutch, Polish, Czechs, and others - even our erstwhile enemies... now friends, the Germans and Italians. Our young men gave their life's blood to liberate them, and now they're attitude is "the United States is EVIL", unless they see what we can do for them today.
