With the number of recreation programs sponsored by community centers and non profit groups, there is no reason for a senior citizen to feel that there is no place for them to go and just have a good time or get information they need regarding government programs. Senior Citizens have a lot to give and these agencies give them the opportunity to do some volunteer work and share their life experiences. Take a look at the ones here and you will get a good idea on what you will find in the senior citizen centers in Pittsburgh. If these are not convenient for you, contact your local community center, YMCA or other local organization and see what they have to offer. They can also refer you to other centers if they do not have programs available. So no more sitting around. Get out and show just what senior citizens can do. Vintage East End
