How to Get the Love You Want and Be Happy in Your Life Today and in Your Future

Most people live for a time in the future. I am no different. I have lived my life in the past waiting for something in the future that is going to make me happy or satisfied. We start out as children, maybe before we even think of it, living for the future. If we are raised relatively normally, we know that when we are tired we will sleep, when we are hungry we are fed etc. We just expect our needs to be met. We don't have to take care of them ourselves when we are babies. But as we get older we can't wait until we can go to school! Of course then we can't wait until we can get out of school.

We can't wait until we are in Junior High. We can't wait until summer vacation, Christmas, the dance, until we can drive. Then we can't wait until we get our driver's license. We can't wait until we have a boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever. Then of course we can't wait until we have sex, or get engaged, or married, or have kids in whatever order.

We can't wait until we go to and then get out of college, or get married or divorced. We can't wait until we get a job, or quit a job. Well this is getting monotonous, I think you have gotten my idea. The main thing is we can't wait to be happy.

I have lived my life like that in the past. I still do sometimes and I hate it when I do it. You put your life on hold, or you live in the future. You can not be very happy living like that, because you are not living now. It's funny because I think that people who are trying to find out the future, through Tarot Cards, or Astrology, psychics, or any other fortune telling devices, think if they know what is going to happen in the future, then they can be happy. So even if they hear that they are going to be wealthy, meet the man or woman of their dreams, they are living for the future and not living now. This is no way to live.

I want to be happy and live now. I don't want to wait to be happy when the house is paid off, or when my son graduates from Brain Surgery School, (ha that is a joke.) I don't want to wait until I know that my grandbaby is going to be born healthy. We can wait ourselves into an early grave.
