Editor's Pick for Interview of 2006 "Acceptance Speech" Article

I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to the editors of Associated Content for choosing my article, "My Interview with Kat Von D of Miami Ink" as the top interview of 2006. When I read that my article was accepted, I was in much disbelief that my article had won. There are so many other wonderful writers on Associated Content that have brought about wonderful articles and interviews. I am honored to be keeping great company with such writers!

Kat Von D is truly an amazing tattoo artist. I believe that often times the world of tattoos is misconceived. Having the appreciation that I do for Kat as well as so many other artists, I wanted to bring light to the tattoo world. To have the ability to bring pictures to life on skin is a whole new media when it comes to art. To be given the opportunity to interview Kat Von D and share the interview with others is a great blessing!

Thank you to my dear friends and family who encourage me every day with my writing endeavors! Having such love and confidence in my writing is an awesome positive reinforcement!
