Could You Use an Extra $20,000.00 In Four Years?
Live a Dream in Four Years in Five Easy Steps
All of my life, I have dreamed of moving to New York City after my children graduate from school and move out of the house. With these goals and ambitions in mind, I am now looking at methods in whiTrick #1: Reduce high-end coffee shop visits to once per week:
At present, I frequent the high-end coffee shop almost every day. As a "reward" to myself for being frugal, I believe I will allow myself one day per week to indulge in my favorite latte. With an average cost of about $2.50 per cup, I can save, over a week, a total of $15.00 per week, equating to $3,120.00 over the next four years!
Trick #2: Use Coupons:
I recently began to clip coupons and found the task to be rather time consuming and cumbersome. However, when I approached the coupon clipping task as an opportunity to save dollars towards my New York move, the whole coupon approach took on a new level of interest. Over the past few weeks, after clipping coupons, I have saved, on average, about $12.50 per week. By re-investing this $12.50, each week, back into my savings account, I will have $2,600.00 in four years.
By using Trick #1 and Trick #2, I've already reached one quarter of my goal!
- Eliminating high-end coffee shops, most consumers will save an average of $15.00 per week
