Belly dancing is a unique way to get exercise and get in touch in with your own body and spirit. But for those of you that frankly have no rhythm, never fear. I know that professional belly dancers look as though they’ve been born without bones and don’t know the concept of stiffness. But learning to belly dance is easier than it looks, and these three programs strive to make your introduction as fun, easy, and educational as possible. Their rates are also quite reasonable.

While many of the classes are unique from one another, all of these classes can be an amazing workout. Delilah’s website describes some of the courses as “power Belly Dancing,” which can be amplified by the additional challenge of wearing a weight belt. Weighing the weight belt is supposed to have a remarkable effect on the waistline. The Power conditioning series is a healthy, gentle way to work the muscles in a body. Which is not to say that this belly dancing course is just a treadmill in disguise: the sole focus is not weight loss.
