Winter Fun in Indiana

Indiana is very cold this time of year. They often receive several feet of snow each winter. If you find your self in Indiana with nothing to do then you should be glad I wrote this one. There are all kinds of things to do in Indiana when its cold and snowing outside.

If you are new to skiing then this is the perfect place to start. They offers lessons if you need them. If you know how to ski, but are just not that good at it, you will be pleased to know that they have special hills just for you. You wont have to worry about getting in other people's way. At the top of the mountain they have a beginning learning area equipped with a jumbo carpet. There are staff members waiting to show you a few tricks if needed. If you think you are ready to head down the hill, then you can choose the family trail. All the trails are clearly marked this way there is no surprises waiting for you. The family trails are always marked with a yellow banner. For those who prefer to snowboard you will be happy to know they have all kinds of terrain. If you would like something a little different then try the snow tubing. The snow tube hill is 700 feet long. Forget about walking back up the hill, they have wonder carpet which takes you right back up the hill. Tubes are provided so there is no need to bring your own, unless of course you want to. They also have rentals available if you need to rent clothes, skis or snowboards. Stay the night at the Trailbiew Ski lodge which is located between the ski and tubing runs. They offer several package for you to choose from.
