Where can I find a good game of laser tag in North Raleigh?

Lasertag is a game that is loved by many of the Star Trek generation. If you happen to fall into the company of this group, you to may be a trekkie.

In North Raleigh there are three places that one can satisfy the craving for an opportunity to get the adrenaline rush.

Frankie’s is a new amusement center in North Raleigh just off Highway 70, near the Durham county line. Frankie’s is the newest amusement park in Raleigh. It is part of a South Carolina chain, with three South Carolina amusement locations.

The Laser Tag Arena at Frankie’s is just one of more than a dozen key amusements in the very modern and compact park.

I have been assured that the lasers are safe. Unlike on Star Trek, they set the lasers so that they will just let you know you’ve been hit.

Family and friends, any who do not want to play, can view your bravery as you take on the imaginary threat to the world.

In addition to Lasertag, you can choose from numerous attractions at Frankie’s. Attractions like miniature golf, go karts, bumper boats and the batting cage. There are at least a dozen significant attractions to choose from.

Frankie’s has a large selection of arcade games. You can dance, shoot the bad guys, play cards, bowl (small balls), gamble (with tokens), play air hockey, race a car, shoot basketballs and many other arcade games.

There is also a restaurant with a menu the goes on and on. The menu even includes a family style selection for groups greater than four. You can re-energize and heal your wounded ego or gloat as the case may be. If you come here with a corporate group, you’ll probably find that you can’t wait to bring family back for the amusements. There is just so much to do at Frankie’s.

There are special group discounts. Attractions are $5 at the group rate.
