Although the Xbox only lasted about four years, it produced many quality video games. Thanks to the launch of Xbox Originals on the Xbox Live Marketplace in late 2007, Xbox 360 gamers got a taste of the great titles they missed from the past. Some of the
best Xbox games still haven't made their way to Xbox Originals, however. Here are five classic Xbox games that need to be converted into Xbox Originals for the Xbox 360.
Jet Set Radio Future
Publisher: Sega, Developer: Smilebit, Release Date: 2002, ESRB Rating: M
Jet Set Radio Future is the sequel to the Dreamcast game, Jet Grind Future. This trippy Xbox sequel gives you a huge funky world of a futuristic Tokyo where you can freely roller-skate, paint graffiti and ward off abusive police. Jet Set Radio Future is unlike any other game you have played before. This truly original title deserved to be an Xbox Originals game for the Xbox 360.
Phantom Dust
Publisher: Microsoft Game Studios, Developer: Microsoft Game Studios, Release Date: 2005, ESRB Rating: T
Despite being an internally developed game, Phantom Dust got very little recognition. In fact, Microsoft left it to another company to localize the game in America. It is a shame since this hybrid arena fighter with card-based element is one of the best games on the Xbox. Microsoft can redeem itself by bringing Phantom Dust to the Xbox 360 as an Xbox Originals title.
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Publisher: Sega, Developer: Smilebit, Release Date: 2003, ESRB Rating: T
Sega was a strong supporter of the Xbox early on. They even released a sequel to one of their most cherish franchises on it. Panzer Dragoon Orta is a dragon-riding rail shooter with spectacular visuals. The game also includes several extras (including the first Panzer Dragoon game) for fans of the series. Panzer Dragoon Orta is a classic title that needs to be converted into an Xbox Originals title for the Xbox 360.
Shenmue II
Publisher: Sega, Developer: Sega/Microsoft Game Studios, Release Date: 2002, ESRB Rating: T
