The camping season on Cape Cod starts later than it does just a little bit south, but to have the opportunity to camp in one of the most beautiful places in the country, makes the wait worthwhile and you can always get in a practice camp out in one of the nearby states first, then come up to the Cape to get a different camping experience. Camping on Cape Cod is a great way to see all that Cape Cod has to offer at a reasonable price. Bring your bikes, they have a 25 mile long bike trail as well as some of the most beautiful beaches, gold courses and antique shops. The restaurants all along Cape Cod are some of the finest, very famous for their seafood. Each village has its own festivals and museums. There is plenty to see and do away from your campground.
If you want to be assured of a camping spot in any of the campgrounds on Cape Cod, get your reservations in early. Cape Cod is one of the most popular vacation spots in the country, with the population in the summer almost 3 times what it is in the winter. The earlier you put in your reservation, the more your chance to have to get first pick of the best campground spots also.
