Ghosts: Tips on How to Confirm Paranormal Activity

For those of us who believe in ghosts and paranormal activities, trying to decipher things to determine if there is possibly a ghost in your presence is hard. Unless they materialize right in front of you in a ghostly form than you could be left guessing. Unfortunately, ghosts are almost
never in full body form so it is up to you to use your senses and compare occurrences to determine if there is in fact a ghost. Here are some ways that you can determine if there is a ghostly visitor without the use of equipment.

Strange occurrences- This is hard to use unless it is paired with another sign. This is because strange things can happen for a lot of different reasons other than paranormal activity. Lamps turning off and on, objects moving for no reason, and doors closing. These are all classic ghost happenings.

Pressure changes- Having your ears pop for no reason or your stomach drop is a big indicator. This is said to occur because of the electrical current that ghosts can carry or create.

Temperature changes- Unexplained hot and cold spots in the area you suspect a ghost to be can also be a sign. Make sure that it is not near a window with a draft or near a vent for the air conditioner or heater. Both of those can create strange spots that can cloud the temperature gauging. Suddenly cold chills can be another sign.

Apparitions- Like I said early, most ghosts do not appear in the form of all whole body. Most appear in just head or face, if they do to take form at all. Ghosts can also appear as dots or blobs

Children and Animals- Children and animals are especially sensitive to the prescience of ghosts. No one really knows why this is. Watch for children to be talking to imaginary people or to appear to stare of into space. Also, if they are afraid to go into a room for no explainable reason or they are scared to be alone. These could all be signs of paranormal activity. Those same reactions from animals could also be a sign. Animals tend to hide when they come in contact with ghosts.

So our grandma's house has always had the lights turn on and off without anyone else being there, and she's always made sure that the lights weren't burnt out. When we're in the house, it all of a sudden gets hot and sweaty, or cold. She says that she's woken up and there has been a ghostly figure of a woman without a face. We recently tried to contact it with a tape recorder and we got some feedback in the downstairs bathroom and the room where she's seen the ghost. We'd closed the doors, the vents, and we'd turned the lights off. We heard talking while we were all quiet and we heard bottles clanking. Any advice?

I have a question, hopefully someone can answer. I just moved into a new apartment and some strange things are happening. One is my mother-in-law when she comes over, won't stay for more than 15 minutes, because she doesn't feel comfortable here. Two, blood spots are appearing out of no-where on my bathroom counter, and have no idea where they are coming from. Three, ever since i moved here we have nothing but bad news. Finally, the cat was watching something the other day move, that we definately could not see. Can this be a sign of some sort of paranormal activity? Can ghosts leave pyshical signs like blood spots? please answer back.

i owned a home in north carolina- after acouple of weeks living in this older home i started waking up at 300am every morning- after doing so i would go to the kitchen to get a drink- one morning i saw a coffee cup swinging back and forth. this was hanging on a mug tree with other cups that werent moving- there was no breeze and no mouse in the cup. i have had other things happen also- i had a house in florida- my dog started running wild in circles barking at the ceiling and at one point chasing something, finally she jumped on the bed and barked at the ceiling somemore. that same week my tv went off and on several times.not long after that my father died- i cant help thinking the spirits were trying to get my attention.

First of all, I would like to know the history of my house. It is an old house, one of the first built on our street we live on here in Michigan. We also have a very old cemetary right behind our house. Honestly what I think, is that we have playful spirits in our house. There are several different strange occurences that have happened in my home. I am glad that I looked up this site today. My cat, whom comes into my room in the basement, stays down there quite often. She sees something down there, because I can sense it. Not only that, this morning there was a scrating sound on my floor in the basement like someone was digging. Strange thing is that the cat was on the other side of the room. She ran over to where I was, and stayed there awhile, but nothing was there. The ligts also flicker at times, and when the basement light has been shut off, it turns on all by itself. I have also heard music playing in the middle of the night, and it was not me. A very nice song, whatever it was,

I recently purchased a home built in 1800, but haven't fully moved in yet - my husband and I go there on weekends to do some remodeling work but don't live there yet. Just recently, I started to notice some unusual activity which coincided with moving my daughter into a different bedroom (while we stay there) so we could prepare to paint her room. One evening, my husband thought he heard some faint music. Then, a week later in the middle of the night I woke up and thought I heard some faint music through my daughter's baby moniter (there was no toys or anything in there that played music). At the same time, I could hear her calmly babbling (she is 14 months old) which she sometimes does. The next night I heard some muffled banging. I was downstairs and the noise came from the general corner of the house where this room is, but I could not distinguish if it was upstairs, or in the basement, etc. The night after that, I heard loud banging around the same time in the evening.
