The Sims: In a World All Its Own
No matter your age or hobbies, I am sure that you have heard of the The Sims 2 game series by Maxis. This game has a large cult following and for good reason. The ever evolving game play is unbeatable and is easy to get addicted to. If you want a game that you can never lose and changes
every time you play it, The Sims 2 is something that you need to play. Read on to discover the wonderful world of The Sims 2.
For those of you that have never had the pleasure of playing The Sims 2, the game play is a simulation of life. You begin with a neighborhood that has about 10 different homes and a few families in them. You have the option of creating a new family or using the ones already in the game. When creating a family you choose everything about each member. Their personality, their clothes, and their aspirations are all at you fingertips. You can also put them in pre built home or buy a lot and start from scratch. You take your characters and monitor their wants and needs and have them use items to fill those wants and needs. Your characters also have free will. Free will allows Sims to go to the bathroom, eat, etc. without you telling them to. You also control your family's day to day actions. You can get married, have children, force your teen to sneak out, and also cheat on your spouse. You can get a job in a variety of fields and get promoted to the top of the food chain. Their destiny is in your hands.
When building houses even the smallest details are explored. Build your floor plan by placing walls down. You can build up to a maximum of 5 floors. You choose the floor and wall covering as well as landscaping. You also can choose to purchase a variety of items that you can change the color to match your color scheme. Not only are there necessity items, there are also entertainment and skill building items available. You can also choose wall hangings and bed coverings in variety of types and colors.
