Takeaways
  • Watch the Airbus being made in France or Germany.
  • Dresden's VW plant is made of glass.
  • Grasse, France is the perfume capital.
Did You Know?
Because an alphorn has no valves or holes, it is harder to play than most other musical instruments; the player must use inhalation and lip tension to create varying sounds.

I know, Amanda, don't you hate reading travel articles after you've been to a place and realizing you missed something cool? That happens to me all the time.

Wow, fascinating stuff, can't wait to read part 1 (I am obviously doing this backward since I just subscribed for your postings). I am in for the perfume tours, but who wouldn't love to see a Porsche being made? Great article.
