By the time Easter Vacation rolls around, the kids are getting ready to put winter behind them and branch out into more outdoor adventures and the amusement parks in Texas open up at just the right time for you and the family to take an Easter Vacation break, get away from the cold north and get a head start on summer in the warm Texas air. There are hotels and Bed and Breakfasts located near all the parks, and there will be an opportunity to visit some of the great towns and cities and Texas and get a taste of the famous Texas hospitality. The parks will not be as crowed as in the summer and there is a good possibility that they will have something special going on for Easter Vacation also. Come on. Take the plunge and do something new and unique. You need a change as much as the kids do.Joyland Amusement Park

Kiddie Acres is especially for children under 10. The have rides and miniature golf and they are open year round. They have a Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Airplanes, Boats, Jeeps, Ponies and a Train Ride and, of course the 18 hole miniature golf course. This is a great type of amusement park for the very young. They can have fun, without being overwhelmed by the older kids and being right in Austin, there is plenty of other things to see and do after the rides are over.
