If you would like to actively show your support for American troops overseas, there are many volunteer organizations that can help. One such charity is "Any Soldier Inc."

"Any Soldier" was started by Sergeant Brian Horn. Sergeant Horn was a member of the 173rd Airborne Brigade stationed in Iraq. He noticed that some of the members of his unit received little or no mail. If you've never been in the military, you may not realize the value of mail. I was in boot camp for a puny ten weeks. Let me tell you, mail call was the highlight of every day. So I can only imagine what it would be like to be in a war zone and receive little to no mail.

Sergeant Horn came up with the idea of volunteering to distribute any packages that were delivered to his unit as "Attn: Any Soldier" to the soldiers that didn't hear from home very often. Brian is now home safe and sound, but other volunteers have picked up where he left off and continue to allocate packages to lonely soldiers. Originally started as an effort to help an individual unit, "Any Soldier" now helps members of all five branches of the United States military that are located in danger zones.

The process works by visiting their website http://anysoldier.com. Go to the "Where to Send" link located at both the top and bottom of the webpage. Browse through the list of requests by using many different options. Some of the options include branch of service, last name, and where the unit is from. Each name is a volunteer that has agreed to organize requests and deliver the packages to their unit members as needed.

You may send a package of your choice, mail some of the specific requests, or just send a letter with "Attn: Any Soldier" on the package. The website has a short, 16 minute online video that explains how the process works. A DVD version is also available for $9.95.

You fail to see that the US troops are like Nazi storm troopers. After WWII they still blamed those who became Nazis. People did not stay "I only blame those that gave the orders" NO; those that became Nazis were blamed also. US Troops should be blamed, spit on, disrespected, and generally regarded as filth just as those individuals that became Nazis were.
