Clay Walker was born on August 19, 1969. He was raised in Beaumount , Texas. He liked country music when he was little and practiced playing a guitar that his father had given him for his birthday at nine years old. As soon as he had finished school he started playing music in Canada.

It took no time from 1993 untill 1995 for Clay to become a big hit with country music. With songs like "What's it To You" and " Live Untill I Die". He has had a total of 11 number 1 hit songs.

He was 26 and had just finished his fourth album. He's music career was going well and he had just had his first baby girl. This was the last thing that Clay was expecting at this time in his life, numbness, tingling, and facial spasms while he was on tour doing his concerts. After having tests ran while touring he learned that he had RRMS or Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclrosis.

After his first attack of ms attack it left Clay's right arm and leg numb. Through it all he has fought it and made life as easy as possible to deal with. He prayed about it and he has dealt with it well ever since he was first diagnosed.

Clay still record's music and still does concerts. He also talks about he's Multiple Sclrosis. I have actully went to see him myself a couple of years ago since I also have MS. He talked about the times before he he had gotten ms and about his thearapy or shots that he takes daily Copaxone which I once was one. He also had his nerologist on stage with him to answer questions from the audience. I mean he didn't sing or anything but it was still really interesrting to see him talk and I was in the second row not very far from where he was and he seemed really friendly and everything and concerened.

I hope this article gives you a little bit of information about Clay Walker and about Multiple Sclrosis. There are also websites to learn more www. nmss.org about this disease. Clay seems to me like he's not giving up and he is doing great I found that reading about him was very interesting and that he's not a quiter and that is the best way to be with this diease is to never give up and not to let it bring you down but go for the best that there is in life.
