Product Review: Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate

I love the Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate made by the Shaklee Company. From my own experience it out weighs in benefits compared to other popular leading cleaning products. It is wonderful for a variety of reasons.

I have young children and this product is super safe to have around the house. It is non-toxic and natural. It doesn't disperse toxic fumes, which is also beneficial for our environment. Most cleaning agents have toxic chemicals, which can be harmful if you breathe or swallow it. Many cleaning agents have an ingredient called morpholine, which can cause kidney and liver damage. Another example is that window cleaners often have ammonia, which can cause irritation to the eyes and skin. It is so safe that I have even used it several different times to clean out my child's cuts and scraps. It is less painful than pouring alcohol on a sour wound.

The product is highly concentrated. You don't have to use a lot to get something clean. For example, for mirrors and windows you just have to add 1-2 drops of Basic H2 to 16 ounces of water. For other types of cleaning they suggest using ¼ teaspoon of Basic H2 with 16 ounces of water. This product does wonders. It can clean stains on carpets, debris on furniture and insect guts on windows. It gets rid of grease and grime. Basic H2 is biodegradable. Its main ingredients are corn and coconuts. The chemical is fragrance free so it won't stink up your home.

The Basic H2 comes in a 16-ounce bottle and a 64-ounce bottle. The 16-ounce bottle cost $10.15 if you are a member of Shaklee and $11.95 if you are not a member of Shaklee. The 64-ounce cost $36.50 if you are a member and $42.95 if you are not a member. The cost of this product does not include shipping and handling. I find the cost of the Basic H2 is well worth the benefits. Because it is so concentrated it will last a long time. For example, I get the 64-ounce and that can last me up to a year.
