I have used a variety of popular air purifiers throughout my life to help reduce my allergies and have not been happy with any of them. I would spend thousands of dollars thinking it would keep the air clean and get rid of my allergies. Will none of them did with the exception of the Shaklee AirSource Purifier. The AirSource is wonderful for so many reasons.

The number one reason I love the AirSource is that it really does clean the air. In our environment we have so many different types of pollution. There is pollen, beauty product residue, dust, gases, mold and much more. The list is really never ending. Breathing these pollutes is not very healthy for our mind and body. For example, I know pollen has always made my eyes and water run. I often get a cough that can last for hours leaving me drained to the point that I can't think how to complete the task I am involved in. The AirSource has made a huge difference. After just one day of using the AirSource my allergy symptoms were reduced. After a week I no longer had the itchy runny eyes and the cough. I felt much better. I was happy to finally find a purifier that works.

The AirSource 3000 might be effective at "cleaning" the air, but the inside of the device accumulated an enormous amount of dust, grime, and air-boure residue which is deposited all over the inside of the casing... and then blown back out into your air. Honestly, there should have been some kind of filter built into this thing. I just spent a few hours trying to figure out how to take mine apart and then clean the inside of the thing. It was horrible. Plan to disassemble and clean your AirSource at least once a year.

I just got a working air source 3000 for $12.00 at a thrift shop.

Thanks for the info on this product; it's good to know that this one worked for you. What a big investment, though, huh? I really like Shaklee products and vitamins, so I'm not surprised they make a great air purifier also.
