Jeffrey Dahmer Linked to Adam Walsh Slaying

Miami author, Arthur Jay Harris, says that after pouring over pages and pages of material concerning the death of six year old Adam Walsh in 1981, he is convinced that Jeffrey Dahmer was his killer. Mr. Harris did not come to this startling conclusion by wild speculation. His premise is
Jeffrey Dahmer Linked to Adam Walsh Slaying
supported by the statements of two men who claim to have actually seen Jeffrey Dahmer in the shopping mall where little Adam was abducted.

One man, Willis Morgan, not only claims to have seen Dahmer in the mall on that day, but also says that Dahmer actually spoke to him. Morgan says he was shopping when he sensed he was being watched. He looked up and saw Dahmer who said "Hi, there. Nice day, isn't it?' At this time, Jeffrey Dahmer was living in Florida, 20 minutes away from the mall. Morgan continued to say that he didn't trust Dahmer's dirty and disheveled appearance and became suspicious. Morgan followed Dahmer to see what he was up to but lost him in the very same toy department at Sears that little Adam disappeared from. There is, however, other evidence that indicates that Adam had already left the toy department because he had been instructed to do so, along with some other boys, by a 17 year old security guard.

A second man, Bill Bowen, also says he saw Dahmer in the mall that day headed toward a blue van with a little boy in tow who was insisting he didn't want to go with Dahmer. Bowen says that Dahmer tossed the boy in the van and sped off. At the time, Bowen thought the two were related, but after Adam's disappearance was made public, he claims he did report what he saw to the Hollywood police. Further Investigation into Dahmer's then place of employment by author Harris revealed that Dahmer did have access to a blue van .

I'm convinced Jeffrey Dahmer did it; he didn't want to admit because as bad as his crimes were, killing Adam Walsh would have made him even more despised then he already was, plus he didn't want to get the death penalty in Florida.

Whoever killed Adam Walsh, it does not take away from the fact that John Walsh has been exploiting this for what it is worth. www.johnwalshournewgod.blogspot.com/

My brother was 11 days older than Adam Walsh, I was 4 yrs old, and our family lived in Miami at the time. This case has always intrigued me. I have read John Walsh's books, and I respect him. However, I have never bought the story that Ottis Toole committed this heinous murder. Here's my opinion on it: this scum Toole was drunk 24/7, a heavy pill-popper, and ingested God knows what else-- and the theory by most is that he drove from Jacksonville, FL to Fort Lauderdale (mind you, this is at least a 7 hour trip without stopping for anything but to get gas), went to a crowded Sears mall (no longer there) in broad daylight, kidnapped poor Adam Walsh, was lucent enough to commit that he did- then drive right back up to Jacksonville high as a kite the whole time to be back basically the next day, as some records show he as back in Jacksonville- without passing out, without getting stopped by the police in any manner, stop on a side highway road w/out getting noticed after doing what he did

I personally would not put too much stock in the years later Id'ing of Dahmer by the two men from the mall. Dahmer would have no reasons to deny thi murder amongst his others consdiering he didn't really need to win any popularity contests as it was. On a further note, by now, John Walsh is in the field of investigative studies in which he could make his own opinion logically as to whether or not be believes this to be true and if he does then fine , but there isn't any comfort or point to be had or made due to the fact that Dahmer was already caught and is already dead.

That's right. The most infamous cannibal in American history murdered one of the most publicized child abduction victims of the past half-century, the 6-year-old son of America's Most Wanted host John Walsh. Sounds crazy, right? Well, I think it's true. And I know it deserves a full investigation by law enforcement. But the Hollywood Police Department, which has basically botched the investigation from the get-go, is giving the idea short shrift, and John Walsh himself has tossed the theory out the window before examining it in any detail.

The truth is that local true crime writer Arthur Jay Harris has compiled an undeniably strong case that Milwaukee's notorious drunken cannibal - who was living in South Florida at the time of Adam's murder - was the culprit. Harris has dug up compelling new details, including information that Dahmer likely had access at the time to the type of vehicle - a blue van - believed to have been used in the abduction. A December article Harris wrote for the Daily Business Review on findings that he spent more than four years gathering has gotten national attention in the past couple of weeks. But his arguments were met more with skepticism than true interest and were swiftly bumped out of the news by the NASA love triangle and the death of Anna Nicole Smith. Scuttling the theory, however, would be a travesty. "Let's look at this new information in an unbiased way," urges former FBI agent Neil Purtell, who questioned Dahmer on numerous occasions and even asked him about Adam. "I don't
