Although it sounds like a horrible war between nations out of a textbook it's actually something much more fun and with hopefully, alot less casualties. Upon reviewing several of the most recent runway items from names such as Marc Jacobs and Luis Vuitton, it is obvious that the Summer is setting in upon us and with it is coming a flourish of colour for some, and yet for others, it will bring us back to a time when simplicity was synonomous with beauty.

The way its looking Summer sun isn't the only thing thats going to be bringing some sunlight into our lives. Hot off the high-end runways comes colors and accessories that will make you wonder if we ourselves are'nt turning solar powered.

Purses, jewelry, clutches, shoes. If it shines then this is the time for it. One of Summers hottest trends being spotted as early as late Spring is expected to be metallic shades of silver, copper, bronze and gold. Now don't confuse this idea with sequins and go buy another ten of those dangly disasterous purses. This season calls for classy, chic metallic looks that accompnay soft tan and putty hues that are ultra feminine and are being spotted across the runway. Adding a simple shine to any toned down wardrobe with colours such as these are sure to bring attention to a beautiful Spring manicure as it clutches.. well, your clutch. Or perhaps the subtle copper coloured straps of your wedge sandles which bring attention to the length they bring to your legs under your knee length khaki couloured skirt; cinched at the waist with a rich brown belt and off-white blouse with a subtle lace. However you choose to pair it, the shine it will bring into your life is sure to make you stand out next to the other black and jewel toned purses that arent expected to hit trend heights until late this Winter.
