The Swinger's Dictionary
In the next few minutes you will not be reading about swing sets. You will be reading about a different type of swinger. Swingers are couples or singles who conduct open relationships with other couples or singles. Mainly,
this means they can sleep with people other than their spouse/significant other. Sometimes this is done at a party, sometimes this is done by double dating. Other times, swingers go to their own swinger clubs and "swing" with other couples. Before breaking into the swinging world, there are a few definitions you should understand. Swinging not only has it's own set of rules, but also it's own set of words and phrases.
AC/DC: This is a slang term for a person who is bi-sexual
Closed Swinging: Closed swinging is for couples who insist on being in separate rooms while having intercourse with another man/woman.
Off Premise: This is a term used to describe a party or location in which swinging couples meet but are not allowed to partake in intercourse. They may leave the party and go elsewhere if that is where they would like the night to go.
On Premise: This is a term used to describe a party or location in which sexual intercourse is allowed.
Open Swinging: Open swinging is for couples who insist on being in the same room while their partner has sex with someone else.
Safe: Safe is a word to describe if a man or woman has had a vasectomy or a tubal ligation. It does not mean the individual is healthy, it just means they cannot get pregnant, or impregnate someone else.
Soft Swinging: Soft swinging is where a lot of swingers begin. It simply means that partners can be swapped for foreplay, but the actual intercourse is off limits. Partners switch back to their original mates if they would like to have intercourse.
