Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy Blissful Unwed

Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy are said to be blissfully unwed and enjoying every minute of their newly found love together. The comedic pair went public with their romance last year. The lovebirds emerged the lovable and adorable couple after being spotted around town on several different occasions.

Carrey says he and his ladylove, Jenny McCarthy, aren't planning to get married. "No, we're never getting married, but we're never getting divorced, which is fantastic," the 45-year-old actor says on Tuesday's edition of Access Hollywood. "I bought her a Chloe purse," he jokes. "Isn't that good enough?"

The couple's bliss has sparked curiosity and now speculation swirls around the lovebirds possibly tying the knot. The will they or won't the wed is one of the burning questions this lovely couple face. Another question that is hot topic for them is whether or not Carrey will pop the question has publicly popped up too.

Carrey says of McCarthy, 34, "She's just a wonderful lady and much deeper than she's ever received credit for, and I'm very excited about her future." The former Playboy playmate, who got her big break in the mid-'90s as a co-host on MTV's Singled Out is said to be equally smitten with Carrey.

Carrey, who was previously married to actress Lauren Holly, has a 19-year-old daughter, Jane, with his first wife, Melissa Womer. McCarthy and film director John Asher filed for divorce in August 2005, after six years of marriage. They have a 4-year-old son, Evan.

When asked whether their relationship would have worked years ago, Carrey says, "No, not at all. I went through a lot of relationships that I believe were meant to define what I don't want in another person and in myself, and it refocused me on what I do want."

The couple attended the nuptial of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in Rome last November 06. The TomKat occasion was dubbed the wedding event of the year. This couple wed or not appear to have gotten it right with one another this time around and are right to be in no hurry to tie anything more than they are ready for.
