I don't care what anybody else thinks, the real estate market is still good in San Diego. Even savvy investors who have been in the game for awhile will let you know that one can make money in San Diego real estate even when the market is down. Here are some common questions from beginning investors:

Is real estate investing for me?

Many people ask this question and my answer to that is: If you really want to make money and have a good future for yourself and your family, there's no reason why you shouldn't get into real estate investing. There are so many techniques and ways to invest in real estate. No matter what type of investor you are - whether you are conservative or a risk-taker, there's a way for you to make money in real estate.

How do I get started in the real estate investing game?

The best way to get started in real estate investing is to get as much knowledge as you can. Like they say, "Knowledge is power." Whether it's reading books or attending classes or seminars, try to soak up as much information on the subject. Learning about the different ways that you can invest in real estate will give you an idea of the path that you would like to take when you start your journey to real estate riches!

However, don't make the same mistake that many people make in that they become knowledge junkies and buy every real estate book or seminar out there, but then fail to take action! If you're familiar with the game of Monopoly, you'll understand it when I say that if you don't past "Go", you won't collect the $200!

Do I have to quit my job to get into real estate investing?

You can get started in real estate investing on a part-time basis. In fact, you can work whenever you want to because this is your business! I have a friend who owned a San Diego restaurant who worked on his real estate investing business on the days he wasn't in the restaurant.

Aren't the prices of real estate market in San Diego maxed out? Can you make money in an overpriced market?
