Washington, D.C (AC) - - Unity08 announced that beginning today, American voters can reserve a seat at a history-making online political convention Unity08 will host over the Internet in the spring of 2008 - the first-ever "national" presidential primary.

Unity08's objective is not to become a new permanent party, but rather they want to receive enough votes to force both Democrats and Republicans to reform their stance on what are "important issues" and "crucial issues". They also wish to fund their campaign with money straight from the average, everyday American; not lobbyists and leaders of big business which they have acknowledge to be a main cause of the currently broken political system.
