I was stuck in a job that seemed as though it just wasn't going anywhere. I wanted a career and not just another place to work. I wanted to be a writer and I hoped to do this before I had to face that my lifelong dream was just that, a dream.
I studied hard and bought all the books and practically anything else that you could buy to help you become a better writer. I still can't believe that I spent that much money and am still rusty. I realized after I found Associated Content, that in order for you to become a better writer, you had to have much practice. I yearned to be accepted as a writer instead of just a homemaker. I wanted people to see my potential.
I know that my article are not the best in the world, but do realize that practice makes perfect. My husband is my biggest critic. I do love him but sometimes I feel like ringing his neck. He is what teaches me where I could have done better and what motivates me to write.
Motivation is my key to everything. I have to be motivated to do almost anything. I guess that you could say that I love my couch. I am a good mom and wife but sometimes I need a little motivation to get me off my rump and into our daily routines.
I came across Associated Content by pure accident. I was surfing the web and looking for jobs that would make it possible for me to stay home with the little ones. I seen this add for Associated Content and became a little clicker friendly. I had a bunch of windows pop up at one time. I guess that I clicked too much. After exiting out of all of them but one, I started to read the home page.
I must of laughed or cried one because the baby woke up. I couldn't believe it, I had found a site that was going to pay me to write articles for them. I kissed the computer and my husband. I was so excited that I nearly fell out of my chair. It was so unbelievable that this site was going to offer me a job doing what I love to do. I started thinking about the possibilities and the potential that this site would give me. I couldn't wait to sign up.

My friends and family told me I was wasting my time. My girlfriend told me I would never get paid. I believe I am capitalizing on all my opportunities and earning plenty of cash now.

Rosa, I loved your article and your spirit in going for your dreams, and I am glad that it is working out for you. I found AC by accident as well, from the blog of a young mid-western girl in N. Dakota. As a matter of fact, she writes for AC as also. So far I have submitted 4 articles to AC, 2 have been published and the other 2 are pending publication. My husband was so proud of me when he found out I actually got an offer for an article. I was happy, too! This is a great place. I'll admit that I had my doubts about it..and it does take some practice, but I am sure enjoying myself!!

You are so right about Associated Content. I came across the site when I was responding to a discussion on Mylot and was so happy when I found out I could get paid to write articles. I have been trying to make money form home for over a year now and AC and Mylot have been the first and only ones that have paid me so far. I couldn't believe it when I got my first offer from them and then they started coming like crazy and knew I had to get to writing, lol! I was also very happy and surprised to see my Paypal account grow with the extra cash. My husband never believed that I was going to make money online because he knows all the scams on here and he is very happy and proud of me getting paid for what I love to do. I would also like to thank AC for paying me for my writing and giving me a chance to make money from home. :)

Associated Content came along at just the right time for me, too. And now they are upping the stakes because they have changed the way that they calculate payment for articles, so I am going to have to figure out how to win at this game, too. Good luck with your writing.
