Anna Nicole Smith: A Confused Soul

I was shocked to hear of the passing of Anna Nicole Smith. The way in which she died will leave her death in the media spotlight for many weeks. It is said that she had to die so young, but can also be viewed as a blessing. The young lady will be closer to her late son. She has gone on record and admitted how traumatizing the loss of him was. Smith leaves behind her a 5 month year-old daughter. It is a tragedy that a baby has to grow up without a mother. She will live a solid life though because I am sure she will be left with something.

Anna Nicole Smith has forever been painted as a goofy blond who was only about money. Why else would she marry someone that was twice her age and close to his deathbed? People have constantly blamed her that she was only with the man for money and nothing else. Smith sticks by her claims that she honestly loved the man with all her heart. She had never met anyone before that showed compassion and an honest warmth in their heart towards her. This made her fall in love with the man. She constantly had to defend that love to the media because everyone thought it was fake. Even the son of her former husband believed she was only about the money. To me, she never really cared about the money until it was supposed to be hers. That is when she cared about the money and perhaps the only time it mattered to her.

Smith had a hard upbringing in which she hardly knew her family. She chose to stay away from her family as much as possible and to do things on her own. This choice led her to take many paths that led her both the wrong and right directions. Smith posed nude several times and even was a stripper for awhile. The job helped her pay the bills to survive. It was not until she was discovered stripping that she finally begin her journey to Hollywood. Her journey to Hollywood ended up being one of her greatest life achievements and nightmares at the same time.
