Snack cups are a favorite baby product of babies and parents. Snack cups provide a convenient way to store one or more types of dry finger food snacks in a convenient baby-sized cup.Snack cups are useful at home as well as on-the-go. The older toddler can hold the snack cup in a car for travel snacking. The snack cup can also be used to take along the toddler's favorite snack on picnics, outings, and trips to play group.
Baby Product: Avent Snack Cup
The Avent Sack Cup is a familiar baby product to parents. It is a common dispenser for Cheerios. The small round container, just the right size for little hands, is divided into three separate compartments. Parents can fill each section with a different small snack , or the same one.
The round lid has a smaller lid, covering a small circular opening where the snack can be poured out. Babies eating solid food up to the toddler age can shake the container and retrieve two or three little Cheerios, Puffs, Kix, or any other bite-sized cereal or snack that will fit into the cup.
After a certain age, the toddler is much more interested in shaking the snack cup until all of the snacks have come out. The way the cup is designed, only one compartment can be emptied at a time, at least until the toddler figures out to turn the lid.
The best part of the Avent snack cup, and similarly designed cups, is the cover cannot be removed by the toddler. The cover fits tightly over the snack cup.
Baby Product: The Snack Trap
The Snack Trap is better in theory than in practice. The soft lid is split into triange shapes, allowing for the lid to open when the triangles are pushed down toward the snacks. Little hands and fingers can easily find their way to their favorite snacks.
The best part of the Snack Trap is the double-handled cups. Little hands love to grasp onto these handles, making it easier to retrieve snacks from a snack cup
The biggest drawback to The Snack Trap is that because the lid is soft pliable, it can easily be removed by a toddler. Suddenly the "Spill-Proof" cup is empty, and snacks decorate the floor.

The Snack Trap would work work better if the lid were not easily removed by curious toddlers. Also, it is not "spill-proof" as they claim.
