This is an easy Easter craft that you can do with children of almost any age. Use big chunky beads for smaller children, which will be easier for them to grip.

Supplies:
========
Pony beads - 15 lavender
Pony beads - 15 pastel green
Pony beads - 15 pastel pink
Pony beads - 15 pastel blue
Yarn or ribbon
Two craft needles
* NOTE: the bead amounts are based on an 'average' wrist. You may want to vary the number of rows of beads for very different-sized wrists.

Step 1 ~
Load several feet of the yarn or ribbon on to the needles, with one needle at each end. (You'll have some extra to cut off at the end. It's much easier to start with too much than too little for this project. So give yourself plenty to work with.)

Step 2 ~
Thread three lavender beads onto your string, and slide them to the middle. Run your needle through those three beads again, so that you have a loop of yarn/ribbon showing above your first row of beads. You'll use that to tie the ends together when you're finished making the rows.

*If you're making this for a very small child, you may want to make this bracelet only two beads wide on each row, instead of three.

Step 3 ~
Add three pastel green beads to one needle, and then run the second needle through those three in the opposite direction. Snug them down against the first three, so that they're lying in two rows. (The top row has the extra loop above it, and both rows have two passes of yarn inside them.)

Step 4 ~
Make the third row by stringing three pastel pink beads onto the first needle, and then running the second needle through and snugging them down next to row #2.

Step 5 ~
Make the fourth row by stringing three pastel blue beads. Then run the second needle through those six and snug them down next to row #3.

Step 6 ~
Repeat steps 2, 3, 4, and 5, to add the next set of four rows. Be sure to snug each row down as you work, so the thread won't become too loose.

In the diagram, the lavender beads are 'L', the pastel green beads are 'G', the pastel pink beads are 'P', and the pastel blue beads are marked 'B'. Use this as a guide while you make your beaded Easter Bracelet.
