NASCAR Nextel Cup racers want for nothing. They have all the 'bling' any Hollywood celebrity could fashion; big boats, expensive cars, private planes, super model girlfriends and rock star houses.

Sure their cribs aren't nestled in the Hollywood Hills nor do they have a great view of the Pacific Ocean from a trendy nitch in Malibu. But they do just fine. Most of NASCAR's privileged drivers reside in the greater Mooresville, North Carolina community. The most successful live in a community on Lake Norman called The Point.

It's an exclusive nest of the NASCAR who's who. There you can find a club house, restaurant, golf course and the likes of Robert Yates and Jamie McMurray. Despite having bought and restored an old farmhouse on the outskirts of Mooresville a couple of years ago, McMurray recently decided that he wanted to be out at The Point with the rest of his buddies.

"I didn't think that I wanted to live on the lake," McMurray smiled. "But then I was always out there visiting friends, and I realized that it was where I wanted to be."

Problem was he couldn't find a house that he liked. Or anyone to add those special touches, "I don't have a girlfriend, so I don't have anyone to help me decorate."

So, he bought a piece of land, hired a few architects and sought out to build his dream house. It was something McMurray didn't think he would do until he got married. But the 29-year-old Joplin, Missouri native figured there was no real sense in waiting, and no time like the present.

One thing McMurray will transfer to his new pad: his tanning bed.

When McMurray's house is finished he will be close to good buddy Elliott Sadler, who splits his time between his North Carolina home and a home built on his father's land in Virginia.

For Sadler, though, it is his home on the road that has the most tricked out features. Sadler's motorcoach is a playground for him and his racer buddies. There are two 40-inch plasma screens, two Xbox's, two PS2's, plush couch, surround sound, and mirrored ceilings.
