Now that you have finished writing your article, "let it lie". Go back a few hours later, or even the next day, and reread your work. Correct any errors you find, spell check, and make sure you are formatting your article to the publisher's writing style. Look it over one more time. Is there anything you said that could be said with fewer words? Wordiness kills an article's chance of success. Next, submit your article and wait for a reply. This is the hard part! Don't lose heart! Nothing worthwhile is gained without effort. Hard work and persistence pays off. You will find yourself gradually improving and your articles will be accepted more often than rejected. Enjoy your well-earned success. You deserve it!
