Welcome to my 26 part poetry series about a cheerful topic: The Apocalypse. Each will be a haiku utilizing alliteration (adheres to the 5-7-5 meter and each word begins with the same letter of the alphabet). Each has a moral message if you can decipher the metaphors.

I will post two per day for thirteen days (a fitting number really). On with the end of the world, I mean the show!

danger dangles down
doppleganger dark dwellings
disturbing decoys

It's basically saying dangers hang down by ghosts/imposters in dark places trying to lure us in like decoys to us fish. Hey, I didn't write it, my words write themselves. lol I suppose it could be Adam & Eve and Satan or maybe George Bush? Thanks!

John, it is going to take me awhile to comprehend your Haiku, but I will figure it out, eventually. I think I do understand "C", though. I just enjoy the words!
