Fallon, Nevada's Quality Computers

Few businesses offer computer repair, custom systems, and a gaming center in Fallon; Quality Computers has it all. But how do they rate on service? As a previous employee I questioned past and current customers on their service, especially with the gaming center.

Quality Computers offers computer repair, custom computers, Sirius radio, Dish, and a gaming center for locals or those passing through. Customers to the gaming center have a variety of options available for purchasing time. The first option is purchasing an hour at a time with prices ranging from four to five dollars. The second option is purchasing "blocks" of time. Block choices range from four hours for around twelve dollars, to 25 hours for about fifty dollars. Parental permission is required for any customer under eighteen to play games with RSB ratings above mature.

As of now QC is the only business in Fallon which offers a computer gaming center. Customers are able to select from a wide variety of games to play, however issues with the systems, sometimes limit the choices available at any time. The majority of games available allow online play online, or over the local network with other customers of the gaming center.

So QC is the only computer gaming center in Fallon, but how do they rate on service? One customer who didn't wish to be named said, "[T]hey just don't make very good business decisions and they are turning out like [every other] lame business; they just want to screw the customer." The majority of customers had similar views. While they enjoyed the gaming center, and having a place to game with friends; they hated the service. Some almost felt that the business operated like it was performing a service, and should be rewarded rather than try and please the customers. It was this behavior that caused a sharp drop in the number of teens visiting the gaming center towards the end of last year. On various occasions visitors to the center would experience trouble with the games but receive no help. However there are those who are pleased with the gaming center and continue to visit it regularly, easily spending $200 plus on the experience.
