Morningside Heights is a neighborhood just north of The Upper West Side, west and south of Harlem. The northern boundary is 125th Street, the major shopping district in the area. It is a neighborhood of brownstones, townhouses, pre war buildings and brand new high rise condominiums right by the Hudson River. Actually, they are not right on the river front, they are right by Riverside Park, where you will find Grant's Tomb, bicycle paths, softball fields and more. This is also where you will find the most expensive real estate. In Manhattan, view is everything and nothing illustrates this better than the two four bedroom condos listed below. Just take a look at the difference in price because one has the better view.

The neighborhood is the first thing you should look at when deciding on your new home. It has to fit your personality, have the transportation you need to get to work Morningside Heights has busses, subways and an AmTrak Station. It is just minutes to the George Washington Bridge and New Jersey.

Take a day and come to visit Morningside Heights. Walk the streets, stop in the stores and try the restaurants. Go to the park. Morningside Heights is just northwest of Central Park as well as being right on Riverside Park. If Morningside Heights is the kind of neighborhood you would like to call home, then it is time to start looking at real estate.

As you can see, Morningside Heights is one Manhattan neighborhood that has a lot of options, co op condos and private houses. And quite a price range also. It is one of the neighborhoods in Manhattan where you can actually get large size co ops and condos. The higher priced units are in the new buildings with the fabulous views of the Hudson River, the lower prices ones in the older buildings and town houses.
