It Must Be Easy to Get Rich Quick

How many of us would like to get rich quick with little or no work? That would be just about everyone who is breathing. The truth is you will not get rich quick without work, unless you win the lottery or someone leaves you much money, or something similar.

The sad part is everyday poor unsuspecting people fall prey to these messages. They will spend countless money and wait for the riches to start rolling in. The truth is that is extremely unlikely to happen and actually will be poorer in most cases.

Everyday, I receive emails and visits websites that let me know how to get rich quick. The only people getting rich quick are the people selling the product or service sent to you. Let's examine some of the reasons this will not work.

If it takes no work or little work, why do they need you? It will be easier and more profitable to hire someone at a cheap wage. If it requires an investment, why wouldn't they just get a loan at the bank, instead of finding an unknown person? Unfortunately, these people are taking advantage of our greed.

Most people want to be wealthy and get rid of their current job. The promoters of Get rich quick schemes know this. They take advantage of this in many ways including business opportunities and work at home jobs.

When you received an opportunity that seems to be too good to be true, then it probably is. You can make money with a home business, but it will take hard work and time.

There are many schemes out there promising to get rich quick and here are a few to avoid. Some of these programs money can be made. It just won't get you rich quick. They include:
Stuffing Envelopes
Sending Money to people on a list
HYIP (High Yield Investment Programs)
Selling miracle items (Such as increasing gas mileage greatly)
Data Entry Jobs
Copycat Websites
Paid to read e-mails
MLM (Very few people even make $100)
Business Opportunities promising thousands per month
Mystery Shopping ($100 a month would be excellent)
Paid to Surf the Internet
Poor or No Contact Info
