Celebrities make looking good look so easy. But of course they have a stylist, hairdresser, masseuse, manicure and pedicure technician and even a makeup artist to help them look that way. The celebrities that I most
admire manage to look good every day when they are out and about just like everyone else, shopping or taking the kids for a walk.
One of my favorite celebrity hairstyles is that of Reese Witherspoon. With long layers and staggered bangs this celebrity can wash and go - after a little bit of gel, a round brush and a straightener. This hair style is perfect for those with straight hair, and would like to keep it long. The staggered edges come across as so casual like she only spent a minute on her hair. The long layers give volume and allow her the versatility to pull it up for up-do or more formal hair styles. Clips, buns, twists, braids, just about anything can be pulled off with this hairstyle and it looks like one even I could do. As a busy working mom and actress, I think it is perfect not only for her face but her lifestyle and many of ours (moms) too. Sexy, easy, and versatile.
Faith Hill is another celebrity that has a hair style that fits both busy moms and celebrities alike. Shortened from the long mane of shoulder length wild curls to a version of the bob sported in the December 2008 issue of People Magazine. On the cover it is a side part with long bangs and short bobbed layers. I think the part to the side is a little too far over, but other than that this look is relaxed curls that could take her from walking out the door in the morning, to the recording studio and even out on the town at night with hubby Tim McGraw. The layers are sharply angled giving versatility to her look.
How does she get this look? By taking advantage of her natural curls. Using styling gel, rounded bristle brushes and a blow dryer she tames natural curls into a more polished look. With her face, she gets it all, long or short and they all look great. But this one is one of my favorites on her.

I've tried getting mine like Reese Witherspoon's but with my bald spot and thin graying hair, it just didn't work. My wife didn't like it either. ;-) I'm such the wise guy.
