Common items such as black clothing, makeup, and sunscreens could also start to cause allergic reactions. The side effects from PPD black henna tattoos can be very serious. They can range from itching of the skin to death. PPD black henna tattoos can cause blisters, hives, swelling, and weeping sores. People have gotten permanent scars on their skin from PPD black henna tattoos. The effects don't become apparent immediately. The reaction starts in about three days and can take up to ten days.
