I just started a programmed diet called Nutrisystem. I was challenged by a family member to try it for a few months. Nutrisystem is a diet I have heard of but have never actually known anyone to succeed on.

Nutrisystem has a finely detailed website. There is diet counseling, a bulletin board, a forum, a place to get recipe ideas, etc. There is a place for men to Talk about the diet meals and exercise planning. The men's programs has a lot of athletic celebrity sponsors.
2. Food Ordering & Discounts
Nutrisystem is showing commercials for 2 weeks free food. What this is comprises actually an extra week of supplies delivered with the first month's order. The second free week comes with the second order. My order took about a weke to arrive. The site discussed a lot of substitutions but I got everything I ordered.
There are silver plans for seniors, low glycemic and diabetic meal and ordering plans, and an auto delivery feature. This means your standing order gets assembled and shipped out one month from the last delivery. This allows you to try foods and cancel them for next month if you don't like them.
You can make changes inside the ordering menu to update selections. You get 28 breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. The snack category is mostly composed of dessert and chip items. There are mini cupcake mixes, dessert shakes, and chocolate bars. This turns out to be a lot of food. i am not used to doing all my shopping a month ahead.

Protein and salad, dairy and fiber are all taken into consideration. The counselors can answer questions online. It's good to browse the forum to see what choices sound good. Ingredients have a healthier overall content than major diet foods. Compare a frozen food with a low calorie count to a Nutrisystem dish. Look at the preservatives, dyes, fillers, and chemicals.
