A Summary of the Life of Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith was born Vicky Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967, in Mexia, Texas. Vicky Lynn was a high school drop out who first worked in a fried chicken restaurant. In 1984, at the tender age of 17, she married her first husband Billy Smith. That same year she became a mother to a son named Daniel Smith. Vicky Lynn and Billy Smith divorced in 1987.

Vicky Lynn worked several dead end, low paying jobs, and then turned to stripping to make ends meet. In 1991, she was working as a stripper at a night club in Houston, Texas, and met billionaire Howard Marshall II. Howard Marshall was a regular customer at the strip club, and soon developed a relationship with Vicky Lynn. Howard Marshall II helped boost her career by paying for breast enhancements, photographers, agents, attorneys, and even bodyguards.

On June 27^th of 1994, Anna Nicole married Howard Marshall II, he was 63 yrs older than her. She was 26, and he was 89 yrs old. As you might guess, Smith was criticized and mocked because of her relationship with Marshall, claiming she was a "gold digger". Smith always defended herself and claimed that she truly loved this man, and that no man had ever truly loved her until then. Marshall passed away on August 4^th of 1995, just over a year after they had married.

Anna was in the spotlight all over the world when she began the court battle with Marshall's son Pierce Marshall, over the Marshall fortune. The battle continued on for over a decade, and Anna finally got it taken to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court awarded her "the right to fight for her share of the fortune".

Anna Nicole went on to do a few movies, and eventually her own reality show. Her reality show did not last long, and was quickly canceled. Anna Nicole battled her weight several times in her life, and went on to be the spokesperson for TrimSpa dietary products.
